Cryptologic is gearing up for another new casino game release, and this time around it's none other than the wildly popular Spider Man and the Fantastic Four. The online casino and poker room software developer published a preliminary press release announcing the developmental progress of the new games, which they promise to be the most advanced of their ever increasing lot of Marvel series video slots.
After getting their exclusive license renewed with Marvel Comics, it seems like Cryptologic and their software developer subsidiary, Wagerlogic, have been on a non-stop quest to turn every Marvel superhero into a slot machine. Now with over ten different slots, including Thor, X-Men, Daredevil, The Hulk, Blade, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Iron Man and Elektra, the addition of The Fantastic Four and Spider Man certainly makes Cryptologic's lineup of Marvel slots an impressive one.
The release of Spider Man could not have been better timed considering just how popular this superhero has become over the years. The last Spiderman movie alone grossed over $336 million on the big screens, which doesn't even count the tremendous amount of DVD, video game and merchandise sales still going strong. There is no doubt that online casino gamblers will be tempted to give the Spider Man slot a spin simply because of the novelty and entertainment value. Such was the case when the X-Men slots and The Hulk came out, both of whom enjoyed considerable success at the box offices as well.
An exact release date has not been given just yet, but Cryptologic says it is right around the corner. According to the recent press release, the new games will incorporate a story-line into the gambling action, other wise known as interactive slots. Considering the sharp graphics of Cryptologic's current online casino platform, the new games should be a treat for both the players and fans of Spider Man and the Fantastic Four.
